From our never-released "Teach Me To Sing" EP

Dark sea surrounding, and I seem to be sinking.
I've lost which way is up.
So pull me from these cement block,
and drag me back from sea.
I think the north star has fallen from the sky.
With half of my hear,
and I can't seem to figure how it works.
I can't seem to quell what kills me inside:
The weight of the past.
God, I'm dying inside
how much can one heart take?
There's no rest for regretters.
Tossing and turning, where is your peace?
You are not found in the mountains,
I have yet to find you in these buildings.
I have come so far, but I'm still searching.
Teach me to sing so I can sing a new song.
At the end of the day, there is still this one thing:
I am still breathing.
You fill my lungs, so I can sing.
You course through my veins, so I can sing.
Rescued my from the sea, so I can sing.
Pull me up from the ground, so I can sing.
Teach me a new song,
So I can sing.
